The REAL October Surprise: New HHS Report Proves ObamaCare Keeps Failing Americans

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Wednesday, October 26th, at 11:00 a.m. ET, Independent Women’s Voice (IWV) will host a press call to discuss a new grim report from the Obama administration revealing double-digit premium hikes for ObamaCare insurance plans. Already, American families have grappled with a number of broken promises – from cancelled insurance plans and skyrocketing health insurance costs to limited health insurance choices – and now they can expect those problems to worsen dramatically in 2017 as pre-subsidy premiums will increase by an average of 25 percent. In some markets, customers will face premium spikes of more than 100 percent.

On the press call IWV Vice President of Policy Carrie Lukas along with health policy experts Grace-Marie Turner and Dr. Eric Novack will discuss the report from the Department of Health and Human Services and what it means for Americans. They will describe how the rate shock will impact families, why ObamaCare has failed to deliver on its promises of cost-effective insurance, and what we can expect in the future.

Lukas, Turner, and Novak will take questions at the end of the call.
